Apart from research and teaching, I am involved in multiple organizing committees. I am a member of Oxford’s Migration, where I have organized multiple events bringing early career researchers, senior scholars, and NGOs together. I am also part of the organizing committee of the Oxford Latin American Graduate Network (OLAGN). The purpose of the OLAGN is to bring together students and faculty working on research on Latin America and the Caribbean. As part of the organizing committee, I am responsible for applying for grants and facilitating seminars and socials.

 

I have also served as an evaluation panelist for the U.S-Mexico Commission for Educational Exchange (COMEXUS),  the Fulbright Commission in Mexico.

 

I am a member of the community council of the organization Otros Dreams en Acción (ODA). ODA is an NGO based in Mexico City that supports individuals and families who have been deported or returned to Mexico from the U.S.
